This weblog details the trip I made, together with Astrid Marit, from Amsterdam to Hong Kong by bicycle from March to December 2009.
We travelled 16000km, passing through eight countries on the way: the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, the Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and China.
Throughout the journey, I recorded my experiences here, along with many photos. So, begin at the beginning, back on a cold March day in Amsterdam, and follow the whole journey through to its conclusion in Hong Kong.
